Description
It is very helpful for us to see the dog's home environment and get a feel for your lifestyle by visiting you at your home. It gives us an understanding of the whole dynamic which allows us to offer you more personalized and specific instruction. All private lessons include a detailed report.

Lesson - 60 minutes $175 
Plus $30 in home fee

Description
We offer private training sessions in our studio or outside at the Montgomery County 4H Center in Collegeville. If your dog needs obedience training or help with behavioral issues, our studio offers a safe environment away from home. By taking a combination of group classes and private lessons many clients experience greater success.

Description
Using Zoom, Google Hangouts, or Facebook, is an excellent option for us to help you with aggression issues, and if you live outside of the Harleysville area. This type of private dog training allows us to observe your dog’s lifestyle and behavior in real time.   Live video training can be used for specific issues, questions, and obedience training!

Private Training Structure

At the first session we will:
  • Ask specific questions about your dog
  • Explain how dogs think, learn and communicate
  • Show you how to work with your dog
  • Address your main issues first
  • Address foundational issues related to main issues  
  • Demonstrate the necessary skills
  • Have you perform them with your dog
  • Encourage further practice

Each lesson includes:
  • Personal attention
  • Written instructions, helpful articles, and notes 
  • ​​A personalized training plan to meet your goals

Multiple sessions may be needed to address various issues/concerns, and to follow up on previously learned skills.

  • Puppies should have completed Puppy Head Start and be 15-24 weeks old for Puppy Next Steps.
  • Pre-registration.
  • Proof of vaccination (first of three Distemper (DHPP) vaccination series and up-to-date de-worming).
  • Rabies is not a requirement for Puppy Head Start.   ​​​
