FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I am worried that my dog will bark too much in class!
A: The first class is always a bit crazy for everyone! In the first class, we will give you instructions and skills to help you with this issue. Bring very high value treats with you to all classes, meaning, smelly and something that your dog does not usually get. You are also welcome to bring interactive toys and/or chew bones with you to each class. The barking and "craziness" improves each week as the dogs get more comfortable.
Why did the trainer put up a visual barrier to block my dog?
A: Visual barriers are used to help settle a dog. They do not solve a problem, but they greatly assist in class situations. Please do not be offended if visual barriers are used around your dog. The goal is to not have to use them as your dog's training progresses. Everything takes time!
Can we arrive early?
A: Please note that there is a small amount of time between classes which allows the trainer to clean up, set up, use the restroom, jot notes and take a break. If you arrive early please wait to find your spot in class a few minutes before the start time, or wait for the trainer to invite you inside.
